Curriculum Intent

At Stoke Heath, we provide the foundations for understanding the world through a bespoke and personalised curriculum. Pupils will be taught essential aspects of the knowledge, methods, processes and uses of science and the impact of science on our local community and the world. In addition, they will develop their understanding of key foundational information and concepts, as well as being provided the opportunity to test and explore phenomena through scientific study. This will help to develop a sense of excitement and curiosity around science and encourage children to articulate what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes. It is our aim to nurture our learners’ inquisitiveness to allow them to thrive in the field of science and contribute to Stoke Heath and the world around them.
