Curriculum Intent 

At Stoke Heath, we understand that Mathematics is an important life skill which is widely used in society. We promote opportunities for pupils at Stoke Heath to gain an appreciation of the beauty and power of mathematics and a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about the subject.  Through adopting a bespoke, spiral curriculum, we have ensured that pupils have planned opportunities to revisit and consolidate previous learning – deepening their knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts over time. This supports pupils in becoming confident mathematicians, enabling them to access the next stage in learning.
